Clara Imbert (1994) is a French artist who graduated from Central Saint Martins in Fine Arts in 2017, currently based in Lisbon.
Her practice questions the notions of space and perspective. Photography and its different processes are the starting points of her creative method, before being reinterpreted through other forms: sculpture, moving image and installation. They open time-spaces comparable to still unknown geographic coordinates, within which senses overtake the tangible.
Working mostly with site-specific installations, her work studies the senses in order to unravel, what at first sight seems invisible. As the images are placed within a reinvented spatiality, the viewer becomes an explorer of their perception, his posture and his field of vision.
