application details

Due to the unprecedented events and public health concerns regarding COVID-19, Thirdbase has been searching for new ways to adapt and keep the Residency open, continuing with activities despite the challenges. However, due to the uncertainty surrounding the health risks, regarding the following residencies that were planned for this year, we feel we cannot guarantee the safety of those travelling internationally and have therefore decided to open two extraordinary residencies for artists resident in Portugal only. This will also allow us to help local artists at this difficult and challenging time. We are sure you understand our decision.

We are very eager to be able to welcome everyone to our Lisbon residency and so hope that we will be able to reopen applications for all artists again as of next year.
All applications sent previously for this year’s seasons will be accepted for consideration when our Open Call is reopened under these circumstances.

Season 6: Aug 3rd — Oct 31st  Application deadline: June 30th
Season 7: Nov 3rd — Jan 31st Application deadline: Sept 30th
